The opposition blames Tbilisi Mayor for embezzling GEL 73 million in two months. According to official documents, the "National Movement" declares that the Tbilisi City Hall transferred funds to different companies for construction works. According to them, these companies are "Georgian Dream" donors and those firms who finance party activities. Whether the money was spent inappropriately - the opposition party appealed to the Prosecutor"s Office to find out the issue.

The accusation and relation of the companies with "Georgian Dream" are denied in the City Hall. Irakli Bendeliani, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, accuses Khabeishvili of ungrounded allegations and demands to submit the evidence.
