"Georgian Dream" will not take into account the main requirements of the Venice Commission,- - a meeting with Bidzina Ivanishvili has ended with this decision.

Most of the recommendations are unacceptable for the ruling party. Ivanishvili"s team refuses to let the parliament of the next convocation to appoint a part of judges. Georgian Dream refuses to make a process of selection of judges in the High Council of Justice transparent and the results of the polls open.
The governing team also refuses to grant the candidates who do not agree with the decision of the High Council of Justice the right to appeal the decision in court.

Before the meeting, one of the ruling party members said that the Venice Commission has no right to interfere with the ruling party"s political decisions.

Bidzina Ivanishvili"s party agrees to fulfil two recommendations. It is noteworthy that the ruling party has agreed to the Venice Commission"s requirement and abolished the qualification examination for non-judge members of the Supreme Court. Second, the conflict of interests - a member of the High Council of Justice, who wants to become a judge of the Supreme Court, will not be able to make any decision.
