The President"s spokesperson speaks about the rule of a selection of the Supreme Court judges. Khatia Moisrapishvili says that Salome Zourabichvili"s position is that when selecting judges it is important to have public trust and high reputation.

She responds to the recommendations of the Venice Commission as well.

"At the first stage, considering only one recommendation of the Venice Commission regarding the rule of the abolition of the examination of the judges cannot calm the tense situation, and can not strengthen the trust of the court," - said Moisrafishvili.

According to the president"s spokesperson, the President met the Chairman of the Parliament on the issue of selection of the Supreme Court judges.
