The opposition lays responsibility for a closure of a road to Davit Gareji monastery on the government .

Opponents of the government agree that till the controversial issue is not resolved, the neighbouring state should not prohibit pilgrims, clergy or tourists to enter this area.

"While questionable issues are not resolved, no one has the right to restrict anyone to enter the territory. The government should take care of this, "said one of the leaders of the National Movement Roman Gotsiridze.

Giga Bokeria, one of the leaders of "European Georgia", said that such incidents should not have any place among the friendly countries. The politician calls on the government to solve the issue with the leaders of Azerbaijan.
