The head of the International Chamber of Commerce in Georgia says that the aim of the ongoing process against the founders of TBC Bank is the discrediting of the founders and damage to the Anaklia project. According to Fady Asly, the government should change the strategy in the interests of the country; everything should be done to support Anaklia
consortium and the Prosecutor"s Office should carry out objective investigate the cyber attack on the TBC Bank.
"Investigation on the alleged money laundering case against Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze is a story created by Bidzina Ivanishvili, for the purpose of discrediting them, as well as for damaging the activities of Anaklia and its creditors, and we have called on Bidzina Ivanishvili a few times to give instructions to close this absurd case since it discredits Georgia, the government and Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Prosecutor"s Office should investigate the TBC Bank cyber attack instead. It is unacceptable that after almost nine months, no one knows what happened and now the investigation is underway on the alleged cyber attack on the president `s twitter page, which is also absurd," - states Fady Asly.
