Before the 2020 parliamentary elections, the European Union sets requirements for the Georgian government. The ruling team hides the content of the letter and the opposition says that the government hides recommendations because they are not intend to fulfill them.
Eka Beselia, a former member of the parliamentary majority, thinks that international partners will demand the authorities to fulfill their recommendations otherwise they will undermine the legitimacy of parliamentary elections.
"If there will not be a demonstration of the political will , the tone of observers on the electoral environment will become even more severe," Eka Beselia said.
