Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Prime Minister, has presented a new project in Batumi. According to the Prime Minister, the city of education and science will be built in Batumi.

The educational city includes sports grounds, recreational space, dormitory and other complexes.

"I promised a month ago that we would start building the same educational space in Batumi as it is built in Tbilisi at this moment. We have chosen this beautiful place in the city. Here we will build the most modern educational space, "said Mamuka Bakhtadze.

The Prime Minister talked about the increase of teachers" salaries. According to Bakhtadze, teachers" salaries will be increased periodically from autumn, and it will reach 1800 GEL in 2022.

"It is a personal tragedy for me that in Georgia where salaries are low, teacher salaries are even lower than average statistics and this is a great tragedy. "Said Mamuka Bakhtadze.
