The results of the interim elections - the joint opposition says that the action plan will be worked out jointly. Opponents of the government speak about the need for a new campaign. According to their assessment, May 19 confirmed that it is impossible to fix people`s will through elections in Georgia and alternative means need to be worked out.
The opposition draws attention to the threat faced by the country today.
"It is very important to start a new campaign, because it is important to explain to every person a great threat our country is facing. That this is a police state that the law enforcement system has turned in the oligarch"s hands into an instrument that elections as an instrument of expressing free will of human beings no longer exist, we no longer have free choice, "said Khatia Dekanoidze.
Member of the political council of the United National Movement, Levan Bezhashvili, said that the reality should be changed immediately in the country.
"We should look for a new strategy, a new task, how to change the reality, while the elections are virtually abolished. It will be protest rallies, it will be a great deal of unity, it is a fact that something should be changed in political instruments, "said Levan Bezhashvili.
Nika Melia, the chairman of the political council of the United National Movement, made a statement regarding the results of the interim elections and said that the United Opposition and the National Movement will develop an action plan.
