Kobakhidze to Constitutional Court, Tadumadze to the Supreme Court- Ivanishvili Enhances Control over Court

Major changes are planned in the "Georgian Dream". Bidzina Ivanishvili is directing the persons he especially trusts to the Supreme and Constitutional courts.
The media has been actively announcing that two major courts of the country will be under full control of the oligarch for the 2020 elections. According to the former prime minister, his former attorney and acting general prosecutor Shalva Tadumadze will be the chairman of the Supreme Court. The first application has already been made. Shalva Tadumadze is one of the most likely contestants of the Supreme Court judges who will be nominated among the 144 candidates.
Political transitions seem to have been completed by the Supreme Court. Zaza Tavadze is preparing to go to the Supreme Court from the Constitutional Court and instead the constitutionalist Irakli Kobakhidze will be appointed the chairman of the Constitutional Court.
By 2020, both judicial institutions will be directly controlled by Ivanishvili.
