President"s statement in Gareji was agreed with Prime Minister - Zurabishvili is trying to avoid possible impeachment

The statement of the presidential administration became the subject of discussion- the leader of the "Georgian Dream" was the first, who publicly accused Salome Zourabichvili of a big political misunderstanding. Irakli Kobakhidze openly said that the statement about Davit Gareji and the issue of the demarcation of the border with Azerbaijan was the President"s personal initiative.
Kobakhidze also said that Zourabichvili"s political movements did not do good and practically admitted that the president was damaged national interests.
Salome Zourabichvili"s spokesperson answered the question of "Courier" whether Salome Zurabishvili’s remark about setting the borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia was agreed or not and whether it was not only her initiative.
After the political messages of the President`s Administration and the Chairperson of the Parliament, the opposition came to the conclusion that both the commander in chief and the legislature of the country are in the regime of mutual accusations.
Political expert Gia Khukhashvili states that it is possible that this topic was agreed with the Prime Minister in general, but similar to other cases, this issue has become a scandal in the hands of the president.
The fifth president of Georgia arrived in Gareji on April 20 and talked about the demarcation of Georgia-Azerbaijan border with clergy and border guards. Salome Zourabichvili"s statement was followed by the escalation of the situation. Now the relevant bilateral commission is working on this issue.
