This was an inappropriate and incompetent comment that unfortunately is characteristic for her- Gigi Tsereteli responds to the statement made by the President of Georgia, where Zurabishvili criticizes the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President and disapproves the statements made on Gareji in Baku.

According to Gigi Tsereteli, Zourabichvili"s criticism is another proof that the president is incompetent and is now trying to blame the problem that she has generated on somebody else.
According to Gigi Tsereteli, he is, first of all, a Georgian politician and only then is the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
"It is sad that Salome Zurabishvili does not respond to Russian threats but finds time to comment on my statement. I should say that this was an inappropriate and incompetent comment, that unfortunately is characteristic for her, it was about the statement on Gareji and I think this statement was absolutely correct and it is correct when I say that the issues related to Gareji should be solved by two neighboring, friendly countries Should be resolved constructively, diplomatically and professionally.
"Salome Zourabichvili does not like this and thinks that it is a violation of some protocol and I am a member of the Parliament of Georgia and will always do it and I will do it when I will be able to address important issues for my homeland, abroad or at home, at different levels of meetings. Salome Zourabichvili should be better-oriented in protocol and in the functions she has, and unfortunately, she seems to have a vague idea about it, "said Gigi Tsereteli.
The President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly discussed Davit Gareji at the meeting with the President of Azerbaijan and other leaders of the government. According to Gigi Tsereteli, the final solution of the issue needs a constructive approach.
