The Georgian political leadership knew all the details about the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy and should take responsibility for the situation - Andreas Mihailides, Secretary General of the Assembly.
In an interview with "Ryanovost", the Secretary General calls the 26th General Assembly unsuccessful and imposes responsibility on the political leadership of Georgia. It is surprising because of the statements made by the Georgian authorities. Andreas Mikhaildis states that Georgia"s political leadership knew all the details of the Assembly"s agenda because it was documented and should take responsibility for the situation.
"The work of the forthcoming General Assembly was well known for everybody, including the leadership of the Parliament of Georgia, it is always led by the Russian Chairperson and I repeat that it was known both for the Parliament of Georgia and for the political leadership of the country," said the Secretary General of the Assembly. Mikhaildis while assessing the developments in parliament as the provocation of radical elements.
