Noise and debate at the session of Batumi City Council Bureau. United National Movement demanded to formulate the position regarding the Russian aggression from the majority of the City Council and send it to the Georgian Government.
This initiative was followed by verbal confrontation from the members of the "Georgian Dream". The majority refused to discuss it or write the issue on the agenda. The opposition claims that this decision is a betrayal.
Temur Kakhidze, Chairman of the Legal and Procedural Issues Commission of Batumi Municipality Council states that the majority did not support the issue.
