The decision made by Strasbourg on Rustavi 2"s case should not have been enforced so quickly - Nona Tsotsoria

The decision made by Strasbourg on Rustavi 2"s case should not have been enforced so quickly - the former judge of the European Court of Human Rights Nona Tsotsoria made this statement.
According to Tsotsoria, the decision was to be executed if the dispute did not go to the Grand Chamber, for which the given term was until October 19.
"There should have been a little bit more explanation, at least a little more consideration because the issue concerned such a fundamental issue as to the existence of one of the main opposition channels in the country. Therefore, I think that it would have been better for democracy and the interests of the country if the decision had not been enforced instantly. In fact, such a speedy execution of the decision does not seem to be appropriate in such a situation, at least in the case of those who doubt that the entire process was aimed to change the editorial policy, those people have become more suspicious that the government had a substantial interest in the dispute resolution process since the decision was executed so quickly , "Nona Tsotsoria said.
