Prosecutor"s Office finished an investigation on the TBC"s case. Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze will be officially charged today. Both of them were summoned to the Prosecutor"s Office. The investigating agency accuses them of legalization of their illicit income.

"On 2 August 2018, the Prosecutor General"s Office of Georgia started the investigation on the fact of legalization of illicit income by the chairman and deputy of the Supervisory Board of JSC TBC Bank.Taking into consideration high public interest, we would like to inform the society that a final decision has been taken as a result of analysis of the evidence obtained within the investigation into the criminal case.

It was issued a ruling on Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze"s allegations, regarding the legalization of 16 754 000 US dollar of illegal income, which was followed by a large amount of income (the crime is envisaged under Article 194, paragraph 2, And subparagraph "c" of Part 3).

We would like to inform you that Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze are summoned to the Prosecutor General"s Office of Georgia for the purpose of presenting a resolution on their charges,"- the statement reads.
