" This is a political process," Bidzina Gegidze, a member of the parliamentary majority, said before entering the State Security Service.

Following heavy political allegations, Bidzina Gegidze was summoned to the State Security Service"s anti-corruption agency for questioning.

Gegidze reiterated that he is a victim of political persecution and that the investigation is political.

“I am a politician, my responsibility among other responsibilities is to be as public as possible, to publicize all issues related to me, ”Gegidze said.
