Soviet security personnel is back to the Georgian government. KGB officer Dimitri Lezhava has been appointed as president"s adviser on military issues.

Lezhava worked in the Soviet special services for 17 years. The country"s commander-in-chief, Salome Zourabichvili, does not explain her decision- why she decided to appoint the Soviet security staff.
Courier asked the president about the appointment this morning, but the president fled, leaving the question unanswered.

Experts know with certainty that Lezhava has been working for the Soviet Security Service since 1983. He worked for the National Security Council in 1998 and has not been in public service since.

According to experts, there is no other official information about Lezhava.
