Wounded soldiers at various times participated in the annual Marine Corps Marathon in America.

The finish line was crossed by junior sergeant Alexander Shamugia near the Arlington War Memorial in Washington, DC.

He covered the distance of 42 kilometers in 3 hours and 26 minutes.

Georgian soldiers have been participating in the Marine Corps Marathon since 2015.
