Georgia is participating in the Consumer Electronics Show [CES] for the 1st time, which is being held this year in Las Vegas, US.

Irakli Nadareishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy, is leading the Georgian delegation. 

Georgia is represented by StartUP in Georgia, with the aim of promoting the positioning of Georgian startups in the international market.

“Developing an innovative startup ecosystem is one of the top priorities of the Georgian government’s economic policy, which seeks to advance the country’s economy based on knowledge and innovation. 

The Government supports startups in various ways, focusing on infrastructure development, access to finance, and technical assistance”, - explained Irakli Nadareishvili.

During the visit, Irakli Nadareishvili, along with the Chairman of Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Avtandil Kasradze, and Georgia’s General Consul in San Francisco, Levan Kulijanashvili, met with Kinsey Fabrizio, President of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and John Kelley, vice president of the CTA. 

CES attracts attendees and exhibitors from around the globe, with organizers anticipating around 50,000 attendees from outside the U.S. In addition to a wide array of startups, prominent companies such as Nvidia, Delta Air Lines, Honda, Volvo, Panasonic, and L’Oréal are also set to make appearances this year.
