Patriarch extends condolences over Ukrainian plane crash

Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II has extended his sympathy to the Ukrainian people over a plane crash that killed Ukrainian passengers.

“We are offering our condolences to Ukraine over an 8 January plane crash in Tehran that claimed a lot of peoples" lives. We are offering our condolences to the victims" family members and relatives, to the Ukrainian President, and the authorities of those countries the citizens of which were on board of that plane”, - reads the condolence letter of Ilia II.
