The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II will not attend the Annunciation Mass at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi.

According to his doctor Tsisana Shartava, the Patriarch is feeling well, and he attended the service at the Patriarchate in the morning.

“He will not participate in the service at Holy Trinity Cathedral due to changes in blood pressure. It slightly changed and we asked to stay away from the service for today. There is Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday ahead, and he should be strong for it. As you know, yesterday he was praying, and this morning he attended the service at the Patriarchate. Right now the health condition of the Patriarch is satisfactory”, - said Shartava.
