According to Bishop Iacob of Bodbe, the Government warned his parishioners - if they attended the Easter liturgy, they would lose their jobs.

“In our diocese, the government has warned public servants, teachers would lose their jobs if they or the members of their families attended the Easter service, and now let"s see who will lose”, - said the Bishop Iacob.
