According to Sergo Chikhladze, the Doctor of Health Policy and Management, it is important for the society to know how many people are infected in the country.
As Chikhladze said, today the country does not have reliable statistics and real numbers.
“We need to have realistic and credible data, reliable statistics that we don"t have yet. Actually, how many are infected. What is clear is that there are confirmed cases, but in reality we don’t know how many asymptomatic cases we have. We cannot judge this by the 5 000 or 7 000 tests performed. We don’t have realistic numbers”, - said Sergo Chikhladze.
