Mass testing on coronavirus will start in boarding houses of older people and persons with disabilities. Such a statement made today the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze.

“We have decided to test vulnerable groups, both children and adults in shelters for older persons and boarding houses for persons with disabilities to prevent the spread of the virus. We are actually ready to start testing of these groups tomorrow, but we will announce the exact date after certain documentary procedures are completed”, - said Tikaradze.

She also added that there will be no delays in the testing of defense forces or other risk groups.

“Testing of the defense forces has already started. As for the clergy, we are conducting the targeted testing according to the needs. If a certain cluster of journalists is exposed, the groups that need to be examined will be thoroughly examined and there will be no delays in this regard. We are ready for this”, - concluded the Health Minister.
