Reporters Without Borders urges Georgian Dream to stop political pressure on Adjara Public Broadcaster. The international organization condemns Malkhaz Rekhviashvili’s dismissal from Adjara Broadcaster in statement posted on Twitter and calls the dismissal of the presenter unfounded.

The host of one of the programs of Adjara TV was fired by the director of the channel on May 11, because of the post published on Facebook.

“Georgia: fired for having criticized disciplinary sanctions against his colleague! RSF_inter denounces baseless dismissal of Malkhaz Rekhviashvili from @ajaratelevision and calls on the ruling party Georgian Dream to stop political pressure on public TV”, - twitted the organization.
