Heads of three oil distribution companies detained for depriving budget of 3.5 mln GEL

Heads of three oil selling entities in Georgia have been detained for the use of false customs documents which resulted in 3 558 799 GEL in damages to the state budget.

The Georgian Chief Prosecutor’s Office will appeal to the court today to send the individuals to pretrial detention.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the detainees face 4 to 7 years in prison if they are found guilty.
