Nine Georgian citizens detained by Greek police for house robberies in Athens

The Greek police detained a group of 9 citizens of Georgia, including one woman, for the creation of criminal groups and house robberies in Athens.

According to the local media, Greek law enforcements were monitoring the suspects for 3 years. They robbed 31 houses in Athens. As the police says, the members of the criminal group received information about the houses mainly from domestic workers.

The investigation found that the detainees had a “skeleton key” that made it easy to open locked doors. Law enforcements seized 3 cars, jewellery, cell phones, computers and cash.
