Global Peace Index - according to the survey, Georgia has advanced by 4 steps

Iceland remains the safest country in the Global Peace Index-2020. New Zealand and Portugal share the second and third places.

Georgia ranks 95th (advanced by 4 steps) in the current year data. Only two countries – Georgia and Sri Lanka - are 20% more peaceful in 2020 compared to 2008. Russia is still in 154th place.

The report analyses 163 countries of the world, the population of which makes up 99.7% of the global population.
