Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated leadership of Emergency Situations Management Service as well as firefighters and rescuers with their professional day.

“Congratulations on your professional day, I would like to wish you good luck, safe return to your families and good health. Firefighter-rescuer is number one figure, respected by all citizens, loved by everyone.

It is a hard job, to tell you the truth, I always get excited with all my heart when I receive any information or photos from Mr. Temur on the existing situation, which I pass along to the Prime Minister. When you are facing tough challenges during the operation, such as fires or when divers are working to save someone’s life, we all get excited and feel relieved when it’s all over.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone. Honestly speaking, this is one of the most honorable and successful services. When you save lives, I am filled with pride”, - stated Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri at the meeting.
