Within the frames of system renovation project, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Butkhuzi and Director of Patrol Police Department, Vazha Siradze opened New Patrol Police building and Unified Service Center in Mtskheta.
New building was constructed in full compliance with contemporary standards.
The building has been equipped with surveillance systems. Both, the interior and exterior of the building have been renovated. The building is equipped with spaces for interrogation, evidence storage, conference hall and gym and adapted for people with special needs. Special space for leisure activities has also been provided for patrol-inspectors in the building. In the same space, Unified Service Center will also be operational.
After Tbilisi and Rustavi, Mtskheta is the third city where the population will be able to receive up to 50 police services within the scope of “single-window” principle, including: Cancelation of the decree on suspension of driving license or replacing it with fine, submission of the found vehicle registration plates, permission on withdrawal of a vehicle, transported to a special parking lot and etc.
One of the most modern police service centers of the patrol police is equipped with visitor queue management system, electronic signature and information technology systems. The renovated building, will eploy 32 Patrol Police officers.
Mtskheta Unified Service Center has introduced an electronic system for receiving applications online, excluding the practice of filling applications and complaints manually.
The branch of Liberty Bank is also operational at the service center, where citizens will be able to cover their fines and penalties.
In addition to safe traffic movement, it is important for the MIA to provide the population with various services in comfortable environment within a short period of time. The introduction of a regional component of the Unified Service Center of the MIA significantly increases the efficiency of police service delivery and reduces the time required to obtain the desired services.
