Family of Zelimkhan Khangoshvili asks for protection

According to Deutsche Welle, the family of Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, who was killed in Berlin, asks to provide them with protection.

“We demand that for those who have not received protection so far, it finally be provided in Germany and Sweden. Unfortunately, last year we painfully realized that the fear of persecution by the Russian authorities, due to which we had left our homeland, is justified”, - said the family of Khangoshvili in a statement.

His family members hail the fact that the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office Federal Prosecutor of Germany filed charges against a Russian national suspected of killing Zelimkhan Khangoshvili.
