Three people arrested for kidnapping girl in Marneuli – the MIA

Police arrested A.F., born in 1977, I.M., born in 2000, and I.I., born in 2002, in Marneuli on charges of unlawful deprivation of liberty by a group under a preliminary agreement. The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 10 years in prison.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation revealed that A.F., illegally deprived the freedom of A.M., born in 1997, in Marneuli Municipality, together with two accomplices, for marriage.

The investigation is underway under Article 143, Part 3, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia (illegal deprivation of liberty by a group by prior agreement).
