Three out of four fires near the village of Khaishi have been extinguished.

According to the Emergency Management Agency, as a result of 4 days of continuous work, the forest fires on three locations in Svaneti, near the village of Khaishi, got put out, and the fourth location is completely localized.

There are a few places left with smoke. Firefighters and border police helicopters remain on the scene. Monitoring is underway.

200 firefighters and 10 units of fire-rescue equipment were mobilized near the village of Khaishi. 4 helicopters of the Border Police of the MIA were involved in the process of extinguishing the fire. The area got monitored by drones.
