Group violence is unacceptable and non-Georgian. Such a statement made the President of Georgia while commenting on the death of Giorgi Shakarashvili.
“I did not know there were so many investigators in Georgia. I am not an investigator and I am not going to become one. It will be much better if we let the Prosecutor’s Office investigate the case and if nobody interferes.
I do not recognize aggressive, group violence against a person. This is very unacceptable, non-Georgian and I think we should go back to our values. An even higher level of courage is admission of guilt and repentance. Let us all think about this and bring up our young people based on these values”, - said Salome Zourabichvili.
