Ministry of Defense starts the process of legalizing flats for military personnel

A project to legalize 5 000 flats on the Ministry of Defense balance sheet to improve military personnel’s social conditions started.

According to the Ministry, to effectively and fairly conduct the process of transferring apartments, a special commission has been set up by the Minister’s request, which includes the relevant representatives of the Ministry and the Defense Forces.

The commission will review the applications and relevant documents on an individual basis and submit recommendations to the Minister. The Government passed a resolution on July 17 to legalize the actual owners of about 5 000 apartments on the Ministry’s balance sheet.
