All sources of 14 new cases of coronavirus are known. Such a statement made today the Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“Out of the 14 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Georgia, 1 is imported, the source of the infection in 1 case is linked to the village of Gachiani and the infection of 12 other patients is associated with the village of Landgeri”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

She added that 203 patients are currently being treated at the COVID centers.

As of today, lab tests have led to 1278 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia, out of which 1058 individuals have already recovered. There have been 41 citizens of Georgia flown from overseas, while 17 died.

At present 7718 individuals are placed in quarantine nation-wide, while 245 are under medical supervision at hospitals.
