The upcoming parliamentary elections are being discussed not only in the political spectrum, but also in the church. The clergymen made comments on this topic after today’s festive service.
According to them, the church will not interfere in secular affairs and will not openly support any political force.
“We are members of the Church and all parties and individuals are spiritual children to us. The church never separates any people. Some things I neither liked in the previous government nor in this government and vice versa. This does not mean that we will ever be on the side of any party”, - said Deacon Shalva (Kekelia).
