Zonal-hourly parking system to be launched on Pekini Avenue and nearby streets

The system of zonal-hourly parking on Pekini Avenue and nearby streets has come into force today.

Locals can register their cars in the information kiosks in order to use these places for free. Parking will be free for owners of electric vehicles and persons with disabilities, as well as for holders of Category A taxi licenses. For the guests, the parking fee for one hour will be GEL 1.

The new parking system will cover Mitskevich, Tsintsadze and Bakhtrioni streets (from the intersection of Gamrekeli) completely from Zhvania Square to Pekin Avenue. Besides, zonal-hourly parking will be operating on Kazbegi Avenue (before the intersection of Gamrekeli) and Vazha-Pshavela Avenue (before the intersection of Beka Street).
