Despite the increase in the number of coronavirus cases over the past week, Georgia still remains in the green zone. Such a statement made the Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention after the meeting of the Coordination Council on COVID-19.
“We have an increase in COVID-19 cases in the past 4-5 days, so we must curb the spread of the infection rate.
The testing rate has been expanded in Georgia. We conducted 4 665 tests in August, 7 961 in September, but the average rate since September 4 is 8 259”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
