Structural reform within the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues. According to the decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, Western and Eastern divisions have been established within in Special Situations Response Main Division, where diver-rescuers will be employed. Decentralization will help increase response efficiency. Herewith, diver-rescuers salaries have increased by 100%.

The mentioned changed were introduced to the diver-rescuers by the head of Emergency Situations Management Service, Temur Mghebrishvili, Head of Fire and Rescue Forces, Davit Sukhishvili and Head of Special Situations Response Division, Avto Tutisani.

The meeting was distantly attended by the diver rescuers of the Western Georgia unit.
