Within the last 24 hours, Covid-19 was laboratory confirmed to 13 employees from various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 10 of them have been confirmed in Adjara region:

2 cases were confirmed in the Security Police Department;
3 cases - in the Batumi Line Service of the Patrol Police Department;
1 case of coronavirus was also confirmed in the Batumi Emergency Situations Management Service;
1 case was detected in Adjara Police Department;
1 case was reported to be confirmed in west Georgia service under Border Management and Coordination Main Division of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
2 cases were confirmed in the Adjara Division of the Special Tasks Department.
Herewith, 1 case of coronavirus was confirmed in the Tbilisi Emergency Situations Management Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 1 case was registered in Tbilisi – particularly in Security Organization Division of the Security Police. Coronavirus was confirmed to an employee of the 2nd Division of the Special Tasks Department in Samegrelo region.

Personnel in the relevant sub-units with whom the infected individuals had direct contact, were transferred under observation and tested. The buildings where they were fulfilling official duties were completely disinfected.

All thirteen employees are receiving appropriate medical treatment. Their condition is stable.
