53 minors have been poisoned in Gori over the last 24 hours. 26 of then are still undergoing treatment in the Children’s Medical Centre Iavnana. The reason of poisoning is unknown yet.

On Saturday and Sunday, 48 other patients with nausea, vomiting and stomach pain asked to be admitted to the clinic.

As it known, all the individuals with symptoms of poisoning are inhabitants of the Kombinati settlement, while 53 new patients are from the villages of Gori municipality.
Residents of Kombinati think that the reason for the poisoning may be tap water, though an official statement published by the United Water Supply Company reads that the water meets high quality standards in Gori.
