Georgia selects Dea Kulumbegashvili’s film “Beginning” for Oscar nomination

Georgia has selected a film of Dea Kulumbegashvili “Beginning” to be presented for the Oscar nomination.

In 2020 three Georgian films competed for Oscar nomination. The special jury made a decision by secret ballot after watching the films.

It should be mentioned that “Beginning” won the main award at the San-Sebastian International Film Festival.
