In accordance with the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Georgian government, officers of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, continue to conduct intensive monitoring activities near to subway stations in order to enforce rules and recommendations imposed against the spread of COVID-19.
Patrol- inspectors are mobilized near to all subway stations of the capital, to ensure the observance of rules imposed for the safety of citizens, prevention of the spread of coronavirus as well as to monitor wearing of surgical masks by people entering and leaving subway stations. Patrol Police conducts monitoring activities inside the subway stations as well.
Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to wear masks, keep social distance as much as possible and follow instructions of the Patrol Police officers.
