The officers of Kvemo Kartli police department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities, detained father and son : A.R. (DoB 1982) and M.R. (DoB 2004) in Marneuli for premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances.

Committed crime envisages from 16 to 20 or lifetime imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainees inflicted lethal injuries from the firearm to their neighbors in Akhlolalo village, Marneuli municipality - mother and son – Z.B. (DoB 1981) and A.R. (DoB 1997) on the basis of the disagreement that took place in past.

Police detained both of the offenders soon after the crime took place.

Law enforcers have already seized the weapon of crime - a shotgun as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances, article 109, II part, sub-paragraph “E” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
