Tengiz Tsertsvadze hospitalized with double pneumonia

The Director General of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center has been hospitalised as his health state has deteriorated.

Tengiz Tsertsvadze’s body temperature stands at 38˚C. Computed tomography showed that he has double pneumonia. Laser scanning cytometry showed that his immune system response is also worsening.

Since Tsertsvadze is a patient at high risk, who is a senior citizen diseased with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, he has been hospitalized and given Remdesivir.

As for Tengiz Tsertsvaz’s wife, Anna Topuria, her health condition is satisfactory and she continues her treatment at home.
