A man, 34, has died of COVID-19 in the Akhaltsikhe. The late patient was in a critical condition and was subject to around a two-week treatment in an intensive care unit in the Kharagauli and Sachkhere municipalities.

It is unknown whether the patient suffered from underlying health conditions.

According to the existing data, 17 patients diagnosed with coronavirus have died in Samtskhe-Javakheti.
