The Georgian Patriarchate released a statement regarding the second wave COVID-19.
“In connection with the second wave of coronavirus, with blessing of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II, the Patriarchate addressed church officials, priests and believers.
It is necessary that the believers observe social distancing rule and wear medical face masks when being in a church. Those who do not feel well or belong to a risk group, refrain from attending church services.
If special need, a priest may visit them at home,” reads the statement.
