Ministry of Internal Affairs seized 1 kg of “Heroin” – one person detained

The officers of the Main Division for the Fight against Illegal Drug Circulation under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained S.M. (DoB 1975) for the repeated purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.

Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 or lifetime imprisonment.

As a result of the personal search of the detainee, law enforcement officers seized 1 kg. of “Heroin” containing drug substance as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, II part, sub-paragraph “D” and part VI, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
