Head of Evaluation Service of National Enforcement Bureau detained on charges of bribery

Officers of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service detained the Head of the Evaluation Service of the National Enforcement Bureau of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on charges of bribery.

The investigation established that the person demanded a bribe of USD 3,500 in exchange for suspending the eviction process for a period of 6 months.

The investigation is ongoing into the fact of taking a large amount of bribe, which is punished by 7 to 11 years in prison.
